“Every student has a place and a voice.”
For the second year in a row, our campus came together for International Day: Parade of Nations, a celebration of the cultures, traditions, and people that make NOVA the vibrant community it is.
Students and faculty proudly represented their countries and cultures, filling our campus with flags, music, color, and plenty of school spirit. With more than 40 nationalities represented, the day gave us a chance to experience something that is part of everyday life here: learning alongside people whose backgrounds, languages, and perspectives may be different from our own.
A special part of this year’s celebration was a performance by our Grade 10 student Nikola Radonjanin, together with students from the Traditional Music Department of the State Music and Ballet School “Ilija Nikolovski Luj,” who shared traditional songs and dances with our community.
International Day celebrates diversity and belonging. It is about learning in a school where differences are valued, connections are built across cultures, and every student has a place and a voice.
Thank you to everyone who helped make our second Parade of Nations a memorable celebration of our community.
