In the early February, Kyiv International School transformed into a global hub of culture, unity, and celebration.

Friday, February 2nd, we had our Preschool and Primary School Winter Sports Day, and it was a great day full of emotions and fun! Primary students from Grade 2 to Grade 5 spent the whole day at the mountains skiing, snowboarding and sledding.

In January, our community celebrated Vegan January, dedicated to sharing the benefits of a vegan diet and encouraging others to explore plant-based eating. Promoted by the school’s DEIJ Committee, and with the help of Rachel Nelson, the primary goal of Veganuary was to educate and share the benefits of a vegan diet.

International School of Prague students organise a Fashion Showcase of Student Work

The CEESA Knowledge Bowl tournament was held virtually on February 2nd by Kyiv International School.

Recently, Tom Damms, the co-founder of Dignity – an organisation dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic – visited our Grade 8 class to deliver a presentation aimed at inspiring students for their upcoming Grade 8 Community Project.

Earlier in December, Pechersk School International celebrated the inaugural International Winter Festival, marking a historic day in the school’s history as the first event since the reopening of the school campus in August 2023 in Kyiv.
