NOVA International School

With activities for the whole family: student performances, a band concert, a lottery, a dunk tank, magicians and street performers, an international food court,  a petting zoo, and student and staff volunteers, our school celebrated its 25 years of existence at the annual Family Festival! It was a day full of laughter, joy, and festivities enjoyed by everyone.

Guests were addressed by the school director, Mr.Ivan Novakovski, and the Charge d’Affairs of the US Embassy, His Excellency Eric Mayer, focusing on the school’s vision for the future and its past accomplishments. “The dream called NOVA started many years ago from a single person and family. Today it has become so much more, as we’re now an extended family of many members who have added to our community’s richness and diversity, all contributing in their unique way to Nova’s growth and development, in making it the exceptional educational institution it is today” said the school’s director, when addressing families in attendance.

The school takes pride in being part of North Macedonia’s educational legacy as the country’s first registered private education institution, having evolved into a truly international school that welcomes families regardless of race, gender, national or ethnic identity, sexual orientation, or religion. The festival focused on community outreach, reflecting the school’s beliefs and curriculum. Funds raised during the event will be dedicated to the “Let’s Spread Love” NGO, which will use it to equip the elementary school dormitory in the village of Dragomance in the Kumanovo region.
