Celebrating a TISA Teacher Author!

We are pleased to celebrate an important professional milestone by one of our faculty members, Mr. Nick Nwolisa, Individuals & Societies Teacher at TISA. 

Nick has published his first book, My Trip to Karabakh – Azerbaijan through the eyes of a 21st century migrant, a reflective account shaped during the challenges of the pandemic years. He recently shared this journey with our community during our Zəfər Günü (Victory Day) assembly, offering students a thoughtful perspective on history, place and identity. 

Nick’s work represents more than a personal achievement. It is a meaningful contribution to the broader understanding of Azerbaijan, written with respect, curiosity and an educator’s insight. We are proud to have colleagues who engage so deeply with the country we call home and who model lifelong learning for our students.
