For the fourth consecutive year, we had the honor of hosting the Science for Kids Conference, an inspiring event organized by the Kantarot Foundation.

Friday’s opening featured welcoming remarks from the Foundation’s director, Dragana Stikova, our school director, Ivan Novakovski, and the Dutch Ambassador to North Macedonia, Özlem Canel, as this year’s focus was on Dutch science and its global impact. 🇳🇱

The evening was a celebration of youth-driven research, featuring three exceptional high school presentations exploring:

  • 💡 Artificial Intelligence in today’s physics
  • 🧫 Antibiotic resistance
  • 🧬 The “non-breathing” of cells

Throughout the year, these talented students collaborated with Macedonian researchers affiliated with world-renowned universities, showcasing the depth of their curiosity and academic dedication.

Adding to the excitement, TikToker Aleksandar Dinev, who was part of the conference’s promotional caravan, joined as a special guest. His science-inspired videos have reached over 500,000 views, helping make science fun and relatable for younger audiences. 📱✨

We couldn’t be prouder to once again serve as the home of this celebration of discovery, innovation, and young scientific minds.
