This school year, we’re excited to introduce the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) in kindergarten and first grade. This proactive framework is designed to maximize student achievement while also supporting social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

At the heart of MTSS is SPARK Time (Support, Practice, and Reinforce Key Skills). Students will work in small, flexible groups tailored to their individual academic needs three times a week. Some will receive additional support, while others will be challenged through enrichment opportunities.

The groups are fluid and based on student data, therefore, instruction remains responsive, dynamic, and personalized. As the year continues, MTSS will expand into additional grade levels, bringing the power of targeted support to even more students.
