At ISK, we are guided by a powerful vision: we prepare students to make tomorrow’s world better. To truly embed this ethos within our learning community, we launched our inaugural Staff
Vision Day during our annual staff orientation week. Our entire faculty and staff moved beyond the campus to engage in a hands-on project: to beautify a cemetery of a local church preparing to celebrate its 700th anniversary.
Our school’s location next to a historic church provides a constant connection to the rich heritage of our Kraków community. Ahead of the church’s major anniversary celebration, our faculty and staff were honoured to assist the parish pastor with a special project: restoring the parish cemetery. Together, we tended to the chapel and grounds, carefully clearing and tidying historic gravesites to help honour the generations of families buried there. This collaborative effort ensures the grounds will be a peaceful and welcoming place for the many parishioners visiting for the celebration.
This immersive experience was designed as more than service; it was an opportunity for us to live our vision firsthand, ensuring we are prepared to model the active, compassionate global citizenship we strive to cultivate in our students.
