Pechersk School International

This August, Pechersk School International (PSI Kyiv) opened its doors for the 30th time — a milestone made even more meaningful against the backdrop of today’s Ukraine.

Founded in 1995, PSI has always stood as a place where learning thrives through connection, resilience, and shared purpose. Now, in the third year since reopening our campus during the war, those values are not only holding steady — they are growing stronger. Our school community continues to expand, with more families joining us each year and a student body that reflects the trust and hope placed in us.

This year, we were also delighted to welcome new colleagues from Canada, the UK, India, and the Netherlands into our teaching staff. Their experience, combined with the dedication of our long-serving educators, enriches the learning environment and reinforces PSI’s identity as a truly international school rooted in Kyiv.

Our legacy is one of perseverance, belonging, and vision. As we mark this 30th year, PSI remains committed to nurturing global citizens who are not only prepared academically but also grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that education is for good.

We invite you to watch a message from our Director, Trae Holland, as he reflects on the meaning of this year for our school and community.
