CEESA Welcomes New Executive Director
Published:
After 14 remarkable years as Executive Director, Kathy Stetson is leaving her position. We are happy to welcome Dr. Robert Sims, who takes over this role to lead CEESA into the future.

Kathy's Legacy
Kathy transformed CEESA during her time with the organization. She built the association into a genuinely connected community where educators support each other and grow professionally together. Under her leadership, CEESA expanded significantly while staying true to its mission of helping international educators thrive.
Kathy’s strength was bringing people together. She created networks that turned colleagues into collaborators and made professional development feel personal. Her warmth and vision shaped CEESA into the vibrant community it is today.
Welcome, Rob!
Rob brings 30 years of international education experience from four continents. He’s worked his way up from teacher to principal to school director, so he understands the challenges international educators face at every level.
Rob’s collaborative leadership style fits naturally with CEESA’s culture. He’s well-positioned to guide the association through current challenges, from new technology to evolving teaching practices.
This transition keeps CEESA moving forward with both continuity and fresh energy for the road ahead.
