This past week, Kyiv International School’s middle school students stepped beyond the classroom walls and into a world of hands-on learning, team-building, and adventure during our much-anticipated Week Without Walls.

Our 12- and 13-year-olds had the opportunity to choose between two exciting experiences. One group ventured into the breathtaking Carpathian Mountains, where they immersed themselves in nature, took on outdoor challenges, and created unforgettable memories while bonding as a team. The trip offered a balance of adventure and reflection, with students hiking scenic trails, engaging in team-building games, and learning about the region’s rich culture and ecology.

Back in Kyiv, another group of 12/13-year-olds participated in a dynamic local program filled with engaging activities and cultural experiences.

Meanwhile, our 11-year-olds embarked on their own Week Without Walls (WWW11) experience—an age-appropriate, action-packed program designed to help them grow socially and emotionally while exploring their interests through collaborative and creative activities.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible staff, chaperones, and organizers who made each of these experiences possible. These journeys were more than just trips—they were opportunities for students to discover more about the world and themselves.
