Outdoor Learning is becoming a way of life at the International School of Krakow, beginning in the Early Years. Taking advantage of the beautiful wooded surroundings, the EY Team facilitated the learners’ appreciation and understanding of the natural world around us by
designing numerous outdoor learning experiences this school year. The children directed their own explorations and investigations outdoors, and they enjoyed extended, open-ended projects.

Outdoor Learning is known to strongly promote not only motor skills and physical strength but also social-emotional skills, environmental stewardship, and mental wellbeing.

Learning in all subject areas can be enriched through Outdoor Learning. ISK will continue to develop this program and build it into the Elementary Grades’ learning next year.
