September 25-27, AIS Zagreb hosted a PowerSchool Users' Group Europe conference, welcoming 40 guests from 18 international schools across Europe and the world. The event was a huge success, featuring great sessions and idea exchanges happening at one of our very campuses -- at AISZ! PowerSchool is a student information system which, when utilised well, expands to a school-wide management system. It was an enjoyable experience to learn from top expertize including Greg Satterwhite, Adam Larsen, Jason Springel and Romy Backus, also featuring two remote presenters -- Chris Walberg and Bob Cornachiolli.
Our guests counted superintendents, deans, principals, managers, developers, specialists, assistants, counselors, secretaries, teachers, company representatives and many more who witnessed great learning opportunities and wonderful venues. The guests reported on feeling very welcome at AISZ, in Zagreb, and Croatia. The team work of AISZ staff enabled that everything goes smoothly, at the benefit of all the participants and everyone included.
The conference started off with a Zagreb tour, facilitated by our wonderful teachers Ms. Salluzzo and Ms. Blagus. The training sessions stretched through Friday afternoon and entire Saturday, ending on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. The event was highly sponsored by Intellimedia, Inc. and PowerSchool Group LLC, and supported by CEESA, AISZ and the PTA.
Our guests experienced how it is to be in a small school with a huge heart!
