Introduction to the CEESA Data Privacy Website

Welcome to Data Privacy at CEESA! We have all been on a journey to implement CEESA at our schools and can report that we have made significant progress. At our first Data Privacy conference last year we received unexpected praise from our speakers. They were both “surprised and pleased” with our competence, enthusiasm and obvious good intention.

We see potential in our group of international schools. Our intent is to form a group of data privacy professionals that can support creating the culture of data privacy within our schools, within our country borders, and beyond.

The vision would include, not just implementing GDPR, but also expanding that culture of data privacy to all our audiences – students, parents, faculty and staff. Our commitment is to the online safety of all children, not just those in our schools, with the recognition that data privacy is a human right. We are in a unique position as our student and faculty travel the world over and can bring the support for data privacy to each new school.
