Largest Class of Seniors Graduates from Tashkent International School

Class of 2015 Tops Out at 42 Students.

Graduation at Tashkent International School is always a special and exciting event, but this spring it marked a new milestone. On Saturday, May 23, 42 senior students stepped across the stage making this the largest graduating class in TIS history.

TIS celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2014-2015.

The traditional ceremony, held outdoors on the school’s spacious, wooded campus, featured special performances by the TIS choir and chamber orchestra, directed by secondary music teacher Guime Odendaal. The commencement address was given by Mr. Robert Fuderich, the UNICEF Representative in Uzbekistan.

The 42 graduates came from 12 countries. Collectively they were accepted into 117 universites around the world and were awarded more than $2.7 million in scholarships.

Congratulations to the TIS Class of 2015!
