Grease to Greece AISZ High School Musical

On Friday, May 15th, 2015, the High School music department and entrepreneurship class presented “Grease to Greece”.

It is a play that consists of the two well-known musicals, “Grease” and “Mamma Mia”. The scripts creators, two high school students, brought together two love stories into one script.  The witty and funny musical compilation, included the most famous and lovable songs such as “Dancing Queen” and “Summer Nights.” The performance had a truly positive reaction from the audience. It was a huge success as our students and teachers, who were involved in the play, have been receiving a lot of appreciation.

The two classes joined and worked well together as a team. While the music class was working on the acting, singing and dancing portion of the musical, the entrepreneurship class engaged on the business part. The business sections was divided in three categories: marketing, props management, and stage management, however, the whole class participated in ticket selling. The purpose of this collaboration was to help the music class to acquire brand new gadgets, with the money raised, and to help them with the aesthetics and practical aspects of the musical. The result of this unique collaboration was an outstanding performance.
