The American International School of Zagreb (AISZ), was established in 1966 and offers internationally focused education in the English language for children from three to eighteen years of age. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma for secondary school graduation which is recognized by all universities worldwide.  The school currently has 260 students from 37 countries.

AISZ commenced construction of the new school campus on September 12, 2017 at a green field site in Središće across from Bundek Park. The building has a designated A+ energy rating and will accommodate 480 students. One of the priorities in building the school was to be an A+ energy rated school. The building’s environmental impact is of vital importance.
