FLL European Robotics Championship

AIS Bucharest celebrates a successful return of our MS Vampires Robotics team after their incredible run in the FLL Robotics Championship series.

This week we celebrated the successful return of our MS Vampires Robotics team after their incredible run in the FLL Robotics Championship series. Over the weekend the Vampires competed in the European finals in Debrecen, Hungary and walked away with the Motorola Communication award.

It took a great amount of responsibility, team effort and collaboration to qualify for the finals and this was demonstrated through the team’s commitment to come to school and work on their robot design and related projects over many Saturdays.

During the many weekends and after school sessions the team continued to steadfastly make good progress through active learning, engagement and practice for the needed improvements and enhancements in ensuring we met the qualification standards and expectations. To recognize the team’s effort this email was sent.

Dear AISB MS Vampires Robotics team and Coaches,

I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the MS Vampire Robots team for their participation at the recent FLL European Championship and for their commitment and engagement through many hours of hard work. While it was a tough field to compete in the Vampire team demonstrated their tenacity through spirited team effort.

Congratulations to all 10 students and their coaches for your unwavering dedication. The Vampires rocked or should I say roboted!! :)

Thanks also to the parents who accompanied the team and provided us with their support.

Go Vampires...the sky is the limit….continue to aspire and inspire!
