An eventful time at PSI

Cross country tournament, visit from Cathy Stetson and our 20th Anniversary Gala.

This autumn in Kyiv has been eventful for Pechersk School International (PSI). The School co-hosted the CEESA cross country tournament in a park near the school, had a visit from CEESA Executive Director Cathy Stetson, and celebrated 20 years of PSI with a ‘Roaring 20s’ Anniversary Gala.

Because of recent political turmoil in the country, Ukraine hasn’t been able to host a CEESA event in some time, so we were delighted to get the chance to welcome CEESA cross country teams this November. The days were cold and wet, but athletes ran well in Holosivski Park near the School. Coaches from other schools all seemed to feel perfectly comfortable in the city -  a good reflection of the safe and quiet environment of the city. If you get the chance to visit Kyiv, please come to see us at PSI!

This year’s events continued with PSI festivities and a 20th Anniversary Gala. Parents and staff were invited to join the event to celebrate 20 years of Pechersk School International. The theme of the event was ‘Roaring 20s,’ where everyone enjoyed themselves dressing up and celebrating. We also had a special guest: CEESA Executive Director Cathy Stetson, who also commented on the feeling of safety and security in Kyiv. The city is a lovely city and we hope more people will come to visit.

School events and CEESA tournaments (MS Boys Basketball March 3-6) will continue to come to Kyiv this year and in the future. You are all welcome to come to PSI Kyiv!
