Bully Free Future Program

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Vice Champion Presents Anti-Bullying Program at AISZ.

Former AISZ student Emma Kamaric is the 2015 World Vice Champion in Brazialian Jiu Jitsu, winning silver medal in Abu Dahbi. Emma is also involved in promoting anti-bullying programs in schools throughout Zagreb.

Her club, offers the first English Bully Free Future Program in Croatia. This program teaches students how to defend themselves, as well as controlling situations while developing motor skills and flexibility through Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques and gaining self-confidence.  Students also learn how to mentally and emotionally deal with bullies and other obstacles that they may come across.

Emma presented her program to our middle school students teaching them a few jiu-jitsu self-defense techniques and how to deal with a bully fairly and squarely. Students enjoyed practicing the techniques and sharing personal experiences. Emma also sparked an interest among a couple of students who have expressed an interest in joining her club. It is wonderful to hear about the successes of our alumni and especially when they come back and share it.
