In the French, Russian and Spanish classes, the P5 world language learners inquired into specific language and key structures needed to describe the weather and the clothes people wear in different seasons. They also were very curious to find out about traditional clothes people wear in target language countries, whether for special occasions or during celebrations.

To demonstrate their learning, the learners engaged in preparing for and participating in a fashion show. As the students walked down the catwalk, their classmates described their clothing in different languages. It was an opportunity for the students to practice their language skills, share their learning and to notice and appreciate other languages, while also having fun and being creative.

Overall, the fashion show was a great success and left the students feeling inspired and motivated to continue exploring different languages and cultures.
