To be an introvert in a system that seems to place a higher value on the extrovert can create tension and anxiety. How we meet the needs of all learners in our classrooms has long been a focus in teacher education and development. But in the pursuit of the collaborative classroom have we left some students behind? Creating a balance of activities is key to providing the stimulation that the extrovert needs with the quiet that the introvert needs. This presentation will explore activities learned through Visible Thinking training, the use of technology available in the Google Suite of tools and current research into introversion from "Quiet" by Susan Cain.
