Zuzana Roby, Economic's teacher at the International School of Belgrade.
People make choices every day. Economics is the social science of people’s choices. Yet, most students do not take Economics until high school, unlike most subjects. Therefore, they often reach high school with a weak or uneven foundation in this subject. How can teachers help students of all ages with this lifetime skill?
Zuzana Roby, an Economics and Consumer Math teacher, university Business Management professor, and a trainer of economics teachers will share ways that teachers can approach Economics in various subjects. Hands-on activities and discussions, as well as using various means of technology, will be the focus. At the end of this session, the teacher should have a sound idea of how he or she can promote economic literacy throughout the curriculum.
