The Third Dimension: Understanding Crosscutting Concepts in the NGSS by Angela Assed

Participants will take an active role in looking deeply at the NGSS Crosscutting Concepts and how they can be used as a thinking tool for students.

As schools adopt and implement NGSS, they quickly realize it can only be done through collaboration, exchange of ideas, and cooperation. The essence of this this work is through building communities. Schools have a wonderful opportunity to begin (or continue) building this community through the CEESA conference and through this workshop with the hope these communities will continue outside the conference.
