American School of Warsaw hosts ZYGMUN virtually

For the past three years, American School of Warsaw has hosted its own Model United Nations (MUN) conference - Zygmunt Model United Nations (ZYGMUN) - in Warsaw.

When the Covid-19 outbreak hit this year and ASW shifted to virtual learning, the ZYGMUN team of students and directors feared they would have to cancel the conference. But after several weeks of hard work, the team managed to successfully run a virtual ZYGMUN conference.

Run entirely from students' homes, the conference consisted of six committees and 150 participants from 33 countries. Over two days, delegates discussed the importance of good health and well-being, and debated the responses of governments to the coronavirus emergency.

The ZYGMUN team reported 'overwhelming positive feedback' from conference delegate. Congratulations to all organisers for stepping forward!
