Google Summit at The International School of Belgrade

Over the weekend of September 19th to the 21st, The International School of Belgrade hosted the Google for Education Summit that was attended by 112 teachers from 10 different schools across Europe.

This was an amazing opportunity for educators to not only learn more about the different applications in G Suite, but a great chance to network with other educators and share different teaching and learning practices used in their classrooms.

The weekend started with a 1-day Google Educator bootcamp. 24 Teachers from 6 schools across Europe attended. This was an opportunity for teachers to prepare for the Google educator level 1 and 2 exams that certify them as Google Educators.

Friday saw the official kick off to the Belgrade Summit 2019. Teachers had the opportunity to choose from 33 different Google workshops and were introduced to transformative ways of integrating G Suite applications into their classrooms. The Google Certified Educational Trainers taught the latest tips and tricks for using Google applications through the use of dynamic learning activities. Teachers walked away from the weekend with plenty of new tools to introduce to students and fellow educators.
