TISA participate in Baku round of the World Scholar's Cup

TISA’s first ever World Scholar’s Cup Team.

In addition to debating if 'technology should create a way to share memories', students also read, wrote and debated their way through the Baku round of the World Scholar’s Cup.

Our valiant TISA team were competing against Baku schools as well as the first-ever Georgian school to participate in WSC.  Students from TISA practiced valuable skills leading up to the TISA Speech and Debate tournament soon to be held in Baku beginning Friday 2nd February 2018 with participating CEESA schools. Issues such as: Are we addicted to social media? Is love necessary? were also contested.

Students will also get the chance to take part in a collaborative general knowledge quiz. At the end of the 2-day competition, students will share performances and presentations about their cultures.

Once the tournament is over, the winners will be invited to compete in the next round, in either Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur or Melbourne!
