On November 17th and 18th 2017, eight art teachers from around the region spent two days sharing and learning about art education from Primary to Secondary school. 

We discussed and built our understanding of concept based learning and assessment in the arts. A short distance from Baku is the World heritage site of Qobustan. We took full advantage of this unique art culture viewing the Petroglyphs and a state of the art interactive museum.  On the second day we continued our discussions on digital technology and integration of culture and social projects.

It was not however  just work, work, work we also shared skills and created beautiful art aprons using a bleach spray technique.  In the afternoon we visited the carpet museum and some of us even bought a carpet!
