IB Diploma Coordinators Meeting at The International School of Belgrade

The International School of Belgrade had the pleasure of hosting the CEESA IB Diploma Coordinators for their annual job-a-like event in November 2017.

Ten DP coordinators from CEESA schools were engaged in two days of dynamic discussions regarding different aspects of the IB program, with the specific focus on the program developments. Major discussion took place related to school documentation for the 5-year evaluation cycle, TOK integration, new Extended Essay curriculum expectations, upcoming changes to subject groups, different scheduling models, academic honesty and language policy.

In addition, a number of “smaller” interesting aspects of the program, that make the work of the DP coordinator such a dynamic one, were brought to the table.

Sharing successes, challenges and best practice was highly appreciated by all, as well as the feeling that we are all together in the same “boat”. We created a shared folder with documents, meeting minutes and presentations to consult when needed, which will assist us all in future endeavors, until another face-to-face event is organized.

Thank you to all participants for making such great contributions, and adding to the fun!
