When fully implemented, NOVA will have a strong inter-disciplinary curriculum covering all subject areas from PK to Grade 8. On November 24th and 25th, staff participated in two days of intensive training that focused on introducing the program and philosophy.

Over the next 10 months the school will engage in a rigorous schedule of ongoing training and planning that will ensure that all staff are fully trained and prepared for implementation the following school year. In addition, the weekend was also action-packed days for HS faculty. Many of them attended the International Middle Years Curriculum training to better understand the program that our middle schoolers will emerge from.

Those not in this session, participated in sessions focused on feedback and assessment approaches. A community that learns together grows together!
