This fall's event will be held at AIS Bucharest in Romania, September 22-24, 2016.
The Pre-Conference on Thursday, is designed for educators who are new to using NWEA's MAP assessment. The focus will be on Using MAP Data to Improve Learning. This full day workshop will be provided by a Grant from the Office of Overseas Schools at no charge to participants.
Friday we will have a Keynote on Assessment for Learning. Conference presentations strands will include Formative and Summative Assessments, Using MAP Data, Subject Specific Assessments in the areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences/World Cultures, Arts Education, World Languages all presented by CEESA and ECIS Educators.
Costs:
- The MAP --Using Data to Improve Learning will be provided at no charge to participants.
The Friday and Saturday Assessment Summit:
- CEESA/ECIS Member schools participants $200 per person
- Non-CEESA/ECIS Member schools participants $300 per person
Coffee breaks and lunch each day, as well as transportation to and from the school, will be provided.
Participants are responsible for all other travel and meals related to attending this Summit.
