Melissa Schaub

Melissa-SchaubMelissa Schaub is currently the Director of Curriculum and Instruction as the Anglo-American School of Moscow/St. Petersburg where she and her two boys are enjoying a new and exciting cultural and professional experience.

Over the last 22 years, she has has the pleasure and honor of working in international schools in Mexico, Venezuela and Romania. Prior to her arrival in Russia, she was the Elementary Principal at the American International School of Bucharest in Romania. She also served as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction for grades Nursery through Grade 5 at the American School Foundation of Monterrey where she worked to grow and develop all aspects of the curriculum, including the alignment of clear learning targets to well-designed, 'best practice’ assessment strategies and instructional methodologies that make a difference to learning across the grade levels. As a classroom teacher, she dedicated her time, passion and professional growth to students in grades 1, 2 and 4. As an instructional leader, it is her greatest educational passion to support the development and implementation of sound curriculum through meaningful teacher training in order to maximize student learning for all.
