She presently teaches Science and Math at Almaty International School in Kazakhstan – the same country where she and her husband served as US Peace Corps volunteers. Rose holds degrees in Human Biology and Education from Stanford University and Portland State University, respectively.  She is currently pursuing her EdD with George Fox University.  Rose’s doctoral research focuses on the experiences of local teaching staff at International Schools.
