Working Across Cultures: A Practical Tool for Schools to Map and Measure Cultural Dimensions of Learning in International Schools by Peter Welch and Robin Schneider

In this session, we will be asking how our schools move from awareness of cultural complexity to practical action.

In this session, we will be asking how our schools move from awareness of cultural complexity to practical action. At the International School of Helsinki, we are developing an online tool that measures cultural dispositions in our classrooms and how these map to learning dispositions. This tool is being designed to help teachers understand how diversity issues link to pedagogical practice. We also want to provide data for leaders to measure how our schools can impact learning cultures and cultural intelligence (CQ) over time. This is a collaborative project and this session will invite participation from other CEESA schools.
