The LearningBoard by Greg Curtis

What do you point to when asked, “That’s a great Mission . . . how’s that going?”  This session dives deeply into Mission- and Vision-driven metrics of success based on student.  It also demonstrates the “answer” to the question posed through the LearningBoard system, designed by Greg Curtis with EduTect Inc. to capture and consolidate student learning in alignment with Mission and Vision.

Greg Curtis is an author and independent education consultant. He is currently based in Beijing and has spent much of his career working with international schools around the world in all-school capacities.

Greg has been a technology director, a curriculum and professional learning director and a strategic planner for schools in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. He currently works with organizations such as EdLeader21, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, MacTighe and Associates Consulting, EduTect Inc. and schools around the world.

His work focuses on long-term, systems-based change in schools and districts around meaningful modern learning. He currently has two books available: Leading 21st Century Learning: A Playbook for Vision-Driven Schools with Jay McTighe (July, 2015: Solution Tree); and, Learning Personalized: The Evolution of the Contemporary Classroom with Allison Zmuda and Diane Ullman (March, 2015: ossey-Bass ).
