This hands-on, interactive workshops give participants the opportunity to explore authentic student-led inquiry units.

Through this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will explore how they can create authentic student-led inquiry units that can empower learners to take action and make a difference in their world. Participants can take principles and ideas shared in this session to their own learning environments.

Kirsten and Catherine have been working together for about 110 days and have worked approximately 2,790 days separately in 6 countries over the past 15 years.

Outside of school they enjoy sports, social encounters and family moments. 

Though born an ocean apart on the west coast of Canada and the east coast of Japan, they both believe in the power of student voice, motivation and leadership. Kirsten has been working in the PYP for 11 years while Catherine is coming into the inquiry model with a fresh set of eyes.

Their teaching experience ranges from grades one to twelve and they are looking forward to sharing and learning with you.
