Workshop for Foreign Language and ESL teachers

On March 28-29 the Anglo-American School of Sofia will be hosting a CEESA-sponsored two-day workshop for Foreign Language and ESL teachers on using authentic cultural materials and folktales in the classroom.

It is appropriate for teachers at all grade levels, and will be linked to CEFR standards.

The program -- which is being taught by Lori Langer de Ramirez, chairwoman of the World & Classical Languages Department at the Dalton School in New York City and an experienced international staff development trainer --  includes five sessions, lunch and refreshments, as well as opportunities for participants to develop their own lessons and units. It should also provide useful opportunities to learn about a variety of  language teaching methods and perspectives, and to exchange ideas with colleagues from other international schools. I have attached a flyer below with further details.

The cost is 50 Euros and includes snacks, lunch, and transportation to and from the metro or main hotel. Registration can be found on our site.
