She focuses her time working with teachers to plan concept-based units and has been involved with planning interdisciplinary units. She regularly meets with teachers and conducts in-school professional development. Prior to this position, Michelle taught students in grades 6-12 EAL and Spanish, served as Service & Action Coordinator and as Middle School Coordinator. Michelle has worked in public schools in the United States and at Xiamen International School in China. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Iowa and a M. Ed. in School Administration from the University of Nebraska, Kearney.
