About CEESA
The Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) was founded as a result of the growth of American and International Schools in Central and Eastern Europe. In many cases, the schools were geographically isolated from each other and from the main stream of American and International Education. CEESA was formed to broaden the horizons of schools and to promote professional growth.
CEESA is your KEY to unlock professional development in the region. Each year, CEESA sponsors teachers’ and administrators’ conferences and institutes to foster professionalism, scholarship, understanding as well as many student activities.
In addition to the annual conference in March, the association sponsors student activities, focusing on a variety of academic and non-academic areas, and a full schedule0of sports events.
CEESA also sponsors special interest institutes, distributes reports, materials and information and hosts over 25 list-serves for our members.
Check out the CEESA website, www.ceesa.org, to find our calendar, newsletter, conference information, directory and all the information you need as a memrer of the association.
Have a great year and get involved in your professional association. CEESA leads educational transformation through collaboration.
